Official Rules - "Glam My Pond" Contest

Hosted by Jones Lake Management.

Contest Period

The “Glam My Pond” Contest begins on June 16, 2025 at 12:01 AM CST and ends on July 9, 2025 at 11:59 PM CST. The public voting period will run from July 10 to July 17, 2025, and the winner will be announced on July 21, 2025. 

Eligibility

This contest is open to individuals who:

  • Are 18 years of age or older
  • Are legal residents of the United States
  • Own or manage a pond or lake located within the Jones Lake Management service area
  • Follow Jones Lake Management on Facebook or Instagram

Employees, contractors, and immediate family members of Jones Lake Management or its affiliates are not eligible to participate.

How to Enter

To enter, participants must:

  1. Follow us on Facebook @JonesLakeMgmt or Instagram @JonesLakeManagement

  2. Use contest form to submit a photo or video of your existing private pond or lake and include a short caption/story explaining why your pond deserves a glow-up

Multiple entries are allowed only if each entry features a different pond or lake. Entries that are incomplete, illegible, or do not follow contest instructions may be disqualified.

Prize

One (1) Grand Prize Winner will receive:

  • A comprehensive pond or lake makeover valued at $3,000, including:

    • Full Pond or Lake Assessment
    • Algae and Weed Control Treatment
    • Aeration System Installation
    • Custom Fish Stocking
    • Professional Management Plan
Runners-up will be eligible for select discounted products and/or services

Note: The final value of services may vary based on site needs and equipment type. No cash alternative will be offered. The prize must be redeemed within 60 days of notification unless otherwise agreed upon.

Winner Selection

The Jones Lake Management team will select the finalists based off:

  • Need for improvement (visual/environmental)
  • Creativity and sincerity of the story
  • Potential for impactful before/after transformation
Public voting will occur on Facebook & Instagram from July 10–17, 2025.
  • The finalist with the highest engagement (likes, shares, comments) will win our ‘Glam My Pond’ grand prize
  • The winner will be announced via social media and contacted directly via DM or email on or around July 21, 2025.

Use of Content

By submitting an entry, you grant Jones Lake Management a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to use, reproduce, and share your content (photo/video/story) on its website, social media, and marketing materials, with or without credit. 

General Terms

  • Jones Lake Management reserves the right to cancel, suspend, or modify the contest at any time for any reason.
  • The prize is non-transferable.
  • Entries containing offensive, defamatory, or inappropriate content will be disqualified.
  • All taxes, if applicable, are the responsibility of the winner.

Limit of Liability

Jones Lake Management and its representatives are not responsible for:

  • Technical malfunctions, lost entries, or errors in contest execution
  • Any injuries, losses, or damages arising from participation or use of the prize

Privacy

Personal information collected through the entry form will be used solely for contest communication and Jones Lake Management marketing. It will not be sold or shared.
